Wierd Electrical Problem (more)
Here is a strange one - yesterday my wife drove our 180Q and last night she mentioned that the remote key lock wouldn't function. This morning I discovered that after taking the key from the ignition the warning beep was going off and the key remote doesn't work - no lights left on or anything like that. However if I take the car out of 1st gear (engine is off - key is out) the beeping stops and the key remote works again. Anybody else have anything like this happen?

This could be a problem with a faulty ignition switch. Fairly common. Your dealer should be aware.

Same issue here...

Same thing happened to me....(more)
...after having my 180Q about 2 months. My dealer replaced the ignition cylinder (I *think* that's the description on the paperwork), and I've had no problems since. As "ObsessTT" said, it seems to be a fairly common problem.
