Default Deus ex machina

Those of you that are following along at home may recall that I intend to hardwire my radar detector into my TT and attempted a dry run of the process two weekends ago. During that process I pulled a fuse for the Central Locking System which wiped out my special dealer-installed settings for 15mph door locks and the ability to lower the windows with the key fob.

I was away all weekend, leaving the TT at the mercies of the neighborhood cats (including the ghost of the one STTuka ran over). I pulled away this morning and heard the door locks go . I looked down at the button and it was lit red. (I was alone in the car at the time, as far as I could tell

I stopped for coffee and just for sh*TTs and grins tried the sTTupid window trick. It worked.

OK, so do I have a ghost in the machine? There were multiple witnesses last week that this did not work after I pulled the fuse. Audi people, whaddya say? Some backup and restore function?

Nice to be here again. You know, you people that went to other forums over the weekend while suffering AudiWorld withdrawal need some help.<p>Ivan
