Got passed by a 225 Roadster in LA on Thursday night.
It's the first roadster I've seen. No plates yet on this one. I saw the lights coming up behind me, and then it passed. I nearly hyperventilated as this Nimbus beauty went on by. If you're here, I was driving a Europa Blue A4 with Washington plates. Also, I was probably weaving all over the road as I tried to find my way back to the hotel! :-) What is with the crappy highway signs in LA? There's nothing worse than finding out your exit is on the left about the same time you need to take it, then have to cross six lanes of traffic to get to it! Sheesh! Ah, I still had fun, and seeing the Roadster made it all worth it.<p>Charles

I picked up my gray TTQ R last Wednesday morning in Santa Monica.
Drove it from LA to NYC in 3 days.
Went nearly 100mph from LA to Albuquerque on Friday, then to St.Louis Saturday, then to NYC Sunday.
Amusingly, my Valentine detector wouldn't fit on Friday morning, so I had to buy a Bel when The Good Guys opened.
I made it cross country without license plates but I sure got a lot of attention at the gas stations!
Bumped into a couple hundred hells angels near laughlin NM, (AZ?) at a biker rally. They all gave me the thumbs up....

Maybe, but it was actually Friday night that...
...I saw this car. Did you leave LA late at night; around 10:30 or 11:00? I was on 405 coming back to LA from Laguna Beach when I saw this one.
Whether or not it was you, the Nimbus Roadster is absolutely stunning and 3 days to NYC is insane! :-)
