SoCal TT Club mountain drive postponed...
As some know, it was my intention to do a San Diego county mountail drive next Sunday, May 7. However, it was pretty obvious that most had other plans on that date. So I tried the 14, but turns out that's Mother's Day.
Trying to organize this drive has been almost comical, but I'll keep working to find a date that works for most. Also, in the not so distant future, I would like to do a brunch or happy hour, most likely in the Laguna Beach area.
I will do periodic updates here, but the best way to keep posted is to follow the link below and join the SoCal Audi TT Club. That way, you will receive new information as it becomes available.<p><img src="http://home.san.rr.com/winefinds/1.jpg" border="0">

Perhaps a worldwide TT & TTR pilgrimage to the movies on the opening weekend of MI2.
Many moviegoers won't understand the significance of all the TTs there before the movie, but you can imagine the mobs after they've seen Mission Impossible 2.
For the SoCal TTers, maybe a trek to the Edwards up in the Irvine Spectrum? Those in San Diego could make it in about an hour. Those in Anaheim and LA could make it in an hour or two. If there is an Audi dealer in the Irvine Auto Center, maybe they could sponsor (buy tickets for all TT moviegoers?) the event or be involved somehow.
I'm hoping to have my 225 TT Roadster by then, so I should be able to make it.

I'd do it. Would have to be preceeded and/or followed by drinks and appitizers.

Us NorCal TTers are trying to arrange a...
...combined ride with local Porsche club to see the movie in San Jose. Maybe you guys want to join us. No final dates yet but pretty soon though.<p>Corto

I'd like for you to be able to go...
TP could probably make it, but his TT won't be here for a few weeks. All of the rest of the San Diego crew will be unavailable. Hopefully, if we do things a bit later, we can get a better turnout, and those waiting for their TTs such as TP and David Z will have their cars by then.<p><img src="http://home.san.rr.com/winefinds/1.jpg" border="0">
