Heated Seats Revisited - Do you have a fix
I know that the weather is warm and no one is thinking about their heated seats, but I am finally bringing in my TT for its 6 month servicing and I want to get them fixed.
I am experiencing the same problem that many of you have experienced in the past. Where even though the switches are turned on, you need to turn them off and back on after you re-start the engine.
I know that the service department will say, "that is the way they where designed", but we all know that this is not the case.
Those of you have gotten them fixed, you do know of a specific Audi service bulletin that talks about fixing this problem? Or do you know what your dealership did to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They've simply been replacing my switches...
They've done so twice so far, so I am not certain that this is a true fix.
After replacement the first time, the new switches worked beautifully for a few weeks. Then, on rare ocassions, I had to start turning them off and back on again. Eventually it worked back up to where I had to do this most of the time, so I listed the problem again during a subsequent visit...
According to my service department, it is a known problem. (They didn't say whether the fix is to replace the switches, but that's what they've done in my case).
