¿ when does model year 2000 production end and 2001 begin ?
I've noticed many a lucky soul commenting on their new 2001 225 coupe or roadster. However, I imagine many other people (myself included) have year 2000 variants on order. Does this mean our 2000's just become 2001's with the same options? Are they producing both model years at the same time? Or do I have to move up to a 2001 225 coupe quattro from a 2000 180 coupe quattro?
carpoint.msn.com conveys that for 2001 if you want a coupe w/ quattro then you must get the 225hp engine. Sure I'd like that engine I just don't want to wait that much longer to pay $3K more. c'est la vie

Carsdirect.com lists 2001 180 coupes, both quattro and FWD.
