Are delivery dates moving up?
Just got a call from my dealer, who told me that I should expect my car to arrive in late June or early July (April 10 order), a full month earlier than expected. Good news. I was wondering if other were experiencing the same thing. Might this reflect an increase in manufacturing capacity in Germany, or is the process just getting more efficient. Obviously, Audi must realize they have a huge winner with the 225.

Lucky you - I ordered in March and I'm still in class A
Hey, congrats on the news. I ordered a 225QC at the end of March (deposit in Feb)and I'm still stuck in build status "A". Does anyone have any idea why April orders may be filled before my March order?

Hearing different storys
Patrick - you`re a lucky chap! I ordered mine at the end of Jan, with a 16 week delivery time to the UK. So should be end of May, but my importer is saying production is slow at the moment (due to ESP) - and he can`t give me a date or a build status.
However, some UK press is saying that the wait times have been reduced from 18 months to between 3 and 6 months. So that`s definately good news!
I think it depends on your spec, they build standard TT`s knowing they`ll be sold, so quick delivery. But if you`ve asked for extras...

What are the status codes? My dealer says there is no B or C
Thanks for the reply, WaiTTmon.....My dealer told me that orders go from class A to class D (in production) and then to class F (done, waiting for transport). He specifically said there were no "B" or "C" codes. Is that incorrect? I know there used to be a list of the build codes posted, but I can't find it.

B- Regional Release
C- Release To Factory
D- Release To/ In Production/ Under Construction
E- Checkpoint in Production
F- Production Complete/has a VIN number!/Ready To Ship/ Exiting
G- Loaded On Ship
H- Ship Released / shipped from Germany
HA- Ship In Transit/ Vessel
I- Arrival In Port
IA- Ship Unloading In Port
L- Loaded On truck / Rail Car (if needed) to be delivered
N - On the truck
S- Delivered at Dealer/ Quality Assurance Check
