Is this reasonable?
I dropped my TT off this morning for warranty work and asked them to recode my radio for the super base and recode the car for the one button unlock.
They plan on charging me $77/hr for that recoding. Is this reasonable or should I complain now before I even pick up my car?

I was told that Audi will do the reprogram once at no charge. Subsequent reprograms at $77/hr is high event for the area I live in ...Northern Virginia...the home of the Beltway Bandits.

Reasonable to charge? Yes, it is dealer's discretion. $77 for 1 hour labor: ridiculous!

I recently took my TTQ180 in to have the control module recoded with one button unlock and remote window control. They agreed with me that one recoding was free under warranty. After four hours of fooling around they came to the conclusion that the TT doesn't support the two options I wanted to add, but would support autolock at 15mph, which I had them do.
If in fact there is a code for these other options (the FAQ works for the A4, but not the TT) then I would like to know it.

I acted stupid and told the dealer that the manual said my windows can go up and down but it doesn't when I do it. He then told me that it can be done, but he doesnt have the code. I went to the electronic page and found it and they did it for free(in thie web page).
Now recoding the Bose, that I don't know, it doesn't say in the manual that it is able to do that.<p>JasonC

Which are the bi g differences between USA and Europe models (coding I mean...)
What leaves me astonished is the fact that the codes are so different between the versions...
It seems to me that adding or subtracting the codes indicated in the FAQ for the TT will completely modify the parameters of my car (the numbers in that position refers to the number of cilinders of the engine...).
Does anyone know a solution for the same codes in the European versions of the car ? ;-)
I would like to have my doors lock at 15 Mph...
