So, I took the car in to have the windshield replaced . . .
. . . and they find a way to hit the side of the car against "something". The Service Manager called (never a good sign) to say that he didn't know how but that the car had been "damaged" (right front fender), and that it was "obvious" it hadn't come in that way.
What could I say? I guess I'll get a chance to find out what Jettas are like (woo hoo!), because I've been told that's what I'll get to drive while it's in the shop!

Check the mileage on the odometer when you pick up your TT. See i the dealer was taking your car...
for a little joyride. I say this partly in jest and in a bit of seriousness as well. Mia had a problem with that a few weeks ago and she came back to find her back seats broken as well.
It would be one thing if they just bumped something into your car, but if you've got a few more miles on the car than when you dropped it off, it could be a different story altogether.
I'd also have them give you a WRITTEN description of what happened and exactly what had to be repaired/replaced.
