Ordering Times, etc.
For those of you who are interested in lead times:
Placed Order: 22 Aug 99

Raven / Aviator with all options except phone
Cost: MSRP - Zero hassle
Built: Week 13 (last week in March)
Arr Boston: last week
Cleared Inspection: Today
Car avail for pick up: Tues 9 May
Highly recommend my salesman - Tony Pina at Clair International 617/469-1034. Straight forward, no hassle, knowledgeable, let me test drive (180 FWD) as long as I wanted - pleasure to work with him!

Sorry to take so much time in replying - just got back from Lime Rock - great Audi outing and both of my daughters were attending Skip Barber School. Re deliv codes, very good, got very straight forward answers all along the way. Caveat - I was probably (abosolutely!) not as fanatical as many about the actual codes. We had set a tentative date of June - July when I put my deposit down and was resigned to live with the date, so I am ecstatic with the outcome.
