Windshield Stress Crack! Others have it happen?

Replaced .. twice!
Larry,
Had mine replaced (first time because of being hit by large rock - insurance paid for that one), but then a couple of weeks later, noticed a decent size crack coming up from the cowel, which quickly expanded to the full height of the windshield.
Audi paid for that one, and I noticed they are using different weather stripping for this one (maybe they discovered an issue with it).
