Default Checked my car out at the dealer today! Will drive away on Tuesday but one problem!

Went to the dealer and check my new beast out.

But to my surprise Audi had stuffed up the interior!!!!!

It was grey instead of black

Personally I don’t mind either the black or grey but I haven’t had to live with it yet.

Just wanted to get some opinions from some fellow TT owners.

BTW, the exterior color is Silver Lake. Also is the dash grey or black with a grey interior? It was half covered so I couldn't tell.

I am hanging to pick it up!

TT225, Silver, Grey Interior??

Default IMO, thats a great combo,

We compared the others and liked Lake Silver/Aviator gray the best, However, people's taste are different.

Default I have Lake Silver with the grey interior...

I love my interior. The top of the dash is black which makes a nice contrast. Personally, I prefer the lighter interior. To me it feels less cramped than a black interior. Also, the detail of the interior stands out more...just like a lighter exterior compared to a darker exterior...

Just my opinion, but I think it looks great.

Default With grey seats, top of dash is black and lower parts are grey. Find it nice but my car is black.

My order also got screwed up. Among other things the black interior became grey. I was worried, never having seen the grey before, but now I like it a lot. Even better than the black. It adds contrast and makes the interior feel much bigger. It's not overwhelming like the blue (just my opinion), so it wasn't a "learn to live with" thing. It looks good with the silver exterior, too. I think you'll be happy with it.

Which isn't to say you shouldn't try to get something out of your dealer for their screw up!
Pat R -- Arlington, Virginia

Default Silver/Aviator...the only way to fly!

My 180Q due in July is ordered that way. I think the gray will lighten and cool the interior. I have lived with navy leather in my 911 Cabriolet for 4 years and like it, but am ready for a change.
BTW, it's a 1984 Eurpean Carrera, 63,000 miles, spoilers, padded roll bar and other extras, new top, new tires. For sale, for delivery late June to mid-July at $20,000, if you know anybody in the Midwest (Des Moines, IA) who's looking for a nice Posrche. 515-778-0379 (cellular)

Default Re: Silver Lake Metallic/Aviator Gray

My color combination exactly--and a very nice color combination it is. The exterior displays the lines of the car quite nicely, accentuating the curves and angles of the car. It is a "machine" color on a car that looks very "machined". The color of the classic German racer.

The interior gray contrasts well with the ebony dash and other ebony interior trim. Gray (at least for me) is a very restful and relaxing color, and it brings light into the cabin, eliminating the potential for a "claustrophobic" effect caused by the combination of the chopped coupe roof and an ebony interior.

While preference for colors and their various combinations are so subjective as to make discussion regarding them almost meaningless, I have to admit that I have not found any of Audi's color selections to be distasteful.
