Where are the real photo's = Signatures & Digi-pictures show as [pic] ..more
Let me explain before you send me up in flames.
I really enjoy surfing the site reading forum contributions and like to dial in to the pictures (read as real pictures of owners cars and options). Unfortunately these "cute" digi images keep showing up in corespondence of "little" significance. Why should I have to wait on load time for this vanity stuff. The first time I look at the post its' OK ..."look what this guy did". By the second or third pass its' gotten real real old.
Look at the forum today and see how few pictures there really are. Can't this be reclassified?
Opinions .......?

In talking to Johannes -- the creator of the forum software used here at AudiWorld -- banner ads load first, then the message, along with any images contained in the body of the message using nested HTML or the Optional Image URL feature, then the signaturre , regardless of whether it has an pic or not.
And ... like HokieTT said, as soon as you've viewed a person's sig image it is cached, and unless you have some quirky browser prefs setup, you will not have to wait for it to load again when viewing other posts from that person.
