Well, I did it. I let the little woman drive the TT. The first non-me to drive it ever.

I let MichaelTT pull mine into the garage now and then; since he has his own 225 TT, it's not quite
as scary as it normally would be ... :-) (I should mention also that I've gotten to drive his car one time, too.)

Sorry Ladies--the last time I let a woman (my ex-gf) drive my car...
a little 63 Lotus Elan 1600...she ended up bucking the poor thing back and forth causing the oil to gush out of the engine block! I almost cried!!
I have no desire to go through that experience again.

Okay, I can top that one: I let a "guy" drive my brand new (at the time) 1990 Miata, and he
proceeded to total it with me in the passenger seat. I for one don't think that lousy driving is a gender-based trait.

agree its not a gender-based trait, but.....
gf- crashed a 00 camry
gf's sister- did it twice in the same car
my sis- crashed 4 cars and currently carless due to 4th crashed
mom- crashed the Jag twice and stop driving period
friend1- decided it was a good time to take a nap at 40mph.
friend2- didn't know the difference between hydroplane and dry ground.
but not all my girl-friends are clueless.....
guyfriend1- thought a mix of summer tires+speed+wet ground was a good idea.
guyfriend2- turns his wheel with his head during blind spot checks.
The repair shops in Seattle are happy.<p>JasonC
