Default Borla installed on 180Q (more)

Easy install, taking my own sweet time took about 45 minutes. One thing though my December built TTQ already had a stainless clamp on the cat- not u-bolts. For you later model owners, don't bother with special clamps, the factory one seals quite well and the Borla exhaust comes with two of theirs which are also total seal types. Maybe this is a change from earlier models ? Also the exhaust tip is quite nice, all polished stainless. Overall the system is very quiet. Even quieter than stock at idle. The only time I can hear mine is at full throttle in 5th gear.

Default Center the End Pipe

You can center the end pipe by tac welding washers(once you have centered the end pipe) on the posts that attach thru the rubber bushings.

Default Ed, you make a good point. Although the Borla will allow more resonance after

a couple of months of use, its surprisingly quiet when using a stock ECU. However, when fitted to a motor with a modified EPROM, the resonance at 3K RPM can be downright irritating at times.
00' 180QC, Dead Stock (except EPROM, exhaust & clear film paint protector)
