Got to see M:I-2. The car chase isn't too bad…

Somehow the scene of the cars bolted together doing pirouettes in a dirt turnout as they circle toward a precipice doesn't cut cut it. In the scene where Cruise is shouting at TT chick, notice the steering wheel position… both cars are going straight. Somebody needs to check the alignment on the Audi! But it is exciting. The bike chase, however, isn't even enough of a joke to cut it as "high-camp." Still, the "flying-guys-with-automatic pistols" scene is classic John Woo.
Where are the REAL Jim Phelps and Dan Briggs when the IMF needs them? (I know, one's retired from A&E's "Biography." and the other's the DA of NYC)
BTW, don't be too surprised if the M:I-2 DVD breaks cover before Thanksgiving<p>2000 Nogaro/Silver - S4
