How many miles or km does the original pads will work, before i change them?

If he's talking about the stock brake pads, they are good for 40,000 miles +++
My dealer has seen TT's that are at 30,000 miles and the brake pads are less than 50% worn. The earliest they have replaced A4 brake pads was in the high 50K mile range.
