Radar motion detec in roadster

The manual describes the motion detec. which can be turned off with the second of 3 buttons in the storage area by the stickshift.

Mine is blank... Does the roadster include the interior like it states in the manual and brosure? With the top down, it makes sense to have protection..... Thank you.

Mine does. But when I tied it nothing seemed to happen. I left it on for 5 minutes and then stuck my hand inside. Nothing!

Mine was built in 12/00. Button is blank. I wonder if they do not include this anymore? When was yours built?

The feature has been removed as of last fall.

The one in my first roadster was going off all the time. I'm kinda glad they took it out.

The trick to enabling the motion detector is to make sure you

have the DRIVER'S door open...press the button...the red light on the button lights. When you hit the lock swtich, the lights in the door should stay solid for 10 or so seconds and then go into the normal blinking pattern.

I found that my alarm was going off very frequently so I enable the inside motion detector almost as a habit all the time when I exit the vehicle, especially at home as it saves me from running out at 2:00 a.m. to turn the alarm off.

I didn't know they discontinued that "feature".
