I'm not certain why this forum continues to be so special
I have hung out here since Aug 99, just before I purchased the TT. Tis the only forum I frequent. Some how, collectively, we have kept it nice. We have gotten to know each other, even tho I am ashamed to say that I only know most of you by your forum names.... I think of Jason as Bracketracer... SuiTTman is Suittman, Jay is someone else... 02BNME, don't have a clue as to your name, but I know you.. Denny tired to become someone else and didn't make it... Wennch is always nice, Petri is my far north soul mate, Just Plain Cliff, is my 356 pal, Wishing is full of optimism, Brad, the SoCal guy, and all the rest of you who have made my days better, I know each of you... Your kindness when Higgens died was amazing... your interest when I just posted the picture of our new pup was fantastic.. I am really sorry that I cannot be in Fallingwater to connect faces with real names. Now and then people come on board with bad attitudes, Ebb V?, and we seem to gently coach them into welcome participants... dunno quite what is going on here, but thanks to you all, tis a special place indeed.

Dick, I totally understand where you're coming from.....
One of these days, I'll get around to counting just how many folks on here that I would consider as friends, and there's no way that you could explain this to someone who is not involved here.
Just this week, I met two more forum friends in person while they were visiting SLC. Last Wednesday, I met spindocttor(Bill), he came down to my dealership with his two sons, and we had a great time, like two long-lost friends. We all went out and had dinner and then, Friday went out go-karting and had a blast. Then, just today, Tturbo(Steve) from CT and I went skiing and yet again, had a great time.
Funny thing, even going a step further, I can honestly say that, now, I bet that there are about 15-20 people on this forum that I can pick up the phone and call and have great conversation with.
Even a couple of AudiWorld folks that I know say that this is definitely the most family like forum that there is. And we are definitely considered the crazies on AW. I like it that way:-)
