Just got a call from AoA . . . regarding my RE-040 Letter . . .

I sent them a letter a week ago about getting reimbursed for all 4 Bridgestone RE-040 as per the letter that was sent to all of us. I didn't know that they call you to tell you what they will be doing.

A Michael McManus is who called me to let me know that AoA will be sending me a check to cover all four tires! He said it will take 4-6 weeks before I see the check. Is that how long it has taken for everyone else that has gotten a check?

I suggest that ANYONE that has or had RE-040 tires on their TT to send a letter to AoA and you are guaranteed payment for all FOUR tires. Those of you that were on here last April know what happened to mine . . . and I am getting a check

What happened to you last April? Does it explain a lot of things?

Do you think they should be reimbursing you for all 4? or do you consider yourself lucky? Maybe you should get your other front quarter panel repainted to get rid of the rock chips. Use the money they are giving you. :-)

i was not present during April because i was not an owner yet..

could you brief me on what your situation was regarding the RE-040 tires. Did you have blisters along the sidewalls? I have the same tires. thanks

You need all recipts . . .

I had to wait for TireRack to mail me a copy of the receipt for my tires. I didn't have the receipt for the mounting though. I don't know if they are going to reimburse me for that or not. I actually didn't ask figuring I will be surprised either way.

Send me an e-mail and I will send you a copy of the letter.
