I'm back from my little vacation
...And here's some useless statistics from my trip in the TT:
Total miles: 2666
What the trip meter says: 666.0 (I didn't know it rolled over at 2000 miles)
Average MPG: 29.3
Total road time: 46 hours, 51 minutes
Average speed: 56.9 mph
Top speed: About 115 mph
States visited: 7 (also came within 1 mile of Texas)
TTs seen: 2, NexxTT's and TTurbo's
Red Camry's just like mine seen: I can't possibly count that high
Strands of beads I got in New Orleans: 5
Strands of beads my girlfriend got in New Orleans: I think I didn't even see that many Camrys
Days I needed to wear a jacket: 0 out of 7

here's the link to our little adventure, since you probably missed it.
It was a pleasure finally meeting you and Beth, but I can't believe your average speed isn't higher and your mpg lower the way you finally burned it up on Saturday. (Hope it wasn't too big of a shock.)
Oh, and TTurbo, Thumper and I crossed a TT on Highland Road when we were re-entering BTR. Couldn't make out who it was as we were moving. I did see him coming and flicked my lights. He must've been stunned as TTurbo was right behind me.

Average speed was low because of all the in-city driving...
I was really surprised about the high MPG, but I guess I did a lot of highway driving in 6th gear. I didn't really drive all THAT fast on the highway (I'm paranoid of getting a ticket) and the River Road Run wasn't all THAT far, so I guess all the averages make some sense, but I'm still surprised by the MPG.
