Oh that dreaded sticker! Finally!

Well, a razor blade was not enough to remove that warning sticker (airbag) on the right side of the windshield. That adhesive was nasty stuff!

So I got some very powerful solvent, stuff used to remove adhesive from paint brushes. I was very very careful not to drip ANYWHERE! Man I was not breathing, both to protect myself from this stuff, and also because I did not want to touch anything but that glass.

Man they stuck that sticker close to the frame!

Well, I got it off, with no collateral damage.

Then, while I was washing everything, my wife came over said, why didn't you use the "Lift-Off"?

I said what???

Down below the sink we had a can of 3M's Lift-Off. Stuff that works, and won't damage the surroundings....can you imagine if I had dripped that solvent...while some safe stuff was tucked away beneath my sink?

I'm taking the plunge tomorrow w/ my sticker... "Goo Off" vs. "Lift Off" is nasty stuff

but I'll be very careful..

Now you only need to remove the part number sticker from your spoiler! ;-)

I assume they are still leaving those on the car at delivery time?

Nope, no spoiler sticker! Better than the Naked Look.

I have not seen that one! But I'll check.

By the way, even though I own the 01' 225, with the spoiler, I am totally unbiased you see, I really do like the spoiler over the other "naked look". ;>)

The spoiler is a subtle reminder to the general public, that this car is something special. For those in the know, like all TT'ers, the spoiler gives us all (non spoiled and spoiled) great fodder for debate...I mean discussion.
