Another cool benefit since switching to Laurel Audi (Chicagoland dealer stuff)
However, when I switched, they *did* tell me that they can't assure me an Audi as a loaner, as those are reserved for customers who bought their car from them. They said they could however assure me an Enterprise rental (paid for of course by them). This was totally fine with me. However, this week, instead of getting the usual Buick Boat (tm) that I always get from Enterprise, I got a beautiful black 2000 Saab 95 Turbo with virtually every option available under the sun (cd changer, sunroof, on-star system, tape deck, radio, heated seats, leather seats, power everything, you name it, it was there). Obviously this isn't Laurel's work, at least, I don't think so, unless they talked the Enterprise people into giving me one of their better cars.
As a side-note, the car was cool. Definitely a car I'd consider if I needed a 4-door. I like the S4/A4's, but this Saab would also definitely be a contender.

At any rate, I basically just wanted to stress again to all the Chicagoland folks, if you're having problems with your service department, give Jim Finch a call at Laurel in Westmont. He's a great guy, easy to talk to, and what's even better, he spends at least 5-10 minutes chatting with you just about whatever. He seems to really care about the customer (as do all of the rest of their service reps), rather than just trying to funnel as many people in and out as possible with no personal attention. Cooler than that? I've never waited more than 5 minutes when coming in to drop my car off and speak with Jim, or to pick my car up. They're very quick.
