People just dont wave (My Turn!)

Leaving my neighborhood this morning, I see a green 225 coupe go by me. Only other green coupe Ive seen in my area. I pull in behind it (Its 5:50a, after all, and no traffic). We get to route 2, two lanes in each direction. I pull next to him, slow and give a wave. He quickly looks half way over, enough to maybe get the fender curve, but definately not make contact. I pull past and settle down in front of him. A few miles later, he goes by me on a curve. I wave again. He neither looks nor waves. A bit more, and the highway is coming up, I flash my headlights at him. No touch of the brake or a wave.

Hrmph. Maybe he hadnt had his morning coffee.

Actually....

Actually, I did wave as you pulled off onto Rt 128, but I guess the visibility into the TT is not too good (flash the brakes?... never heard of that before).

Unfortunately, I didn't notice the other waves or glances... I guess I've become accustomed to unfriendly TT owners in this area. Since I've had my TT (~ 4 months) only one other TT driver has acknowledged me.

I would have waved ;)

I see a black 225ttc frequently - not a peep/wave/glance. Oh well...

Guess its a NE thing?!

There's a silver coupe I see all the time who waves, and we've even rolled the window down to chat. Other than him, though, most other TT owners ignore it. Oh well

Waved to a fellow TTR on 93N this am....He was busy trying to merge, but he acknowledged me. :-)

Saw a gray TTC the other morning up here in Wilmington....I flashed my lights, but don't know if they saw me, as I was making the turn....

Ah well.....I'll keep trying! :-)

Always wave when I can....but I have to admit, sometimes it's hard to see or wave...when shifting in

Boston Traffic. I do my best.... :-)

Hey, I wave...and flash...and honk but most of the time other TT'ers don't even notice

I think there are a lot of Tt'ers out there who don't get the spirit of this car. Me? I'm havin' a blast every time I sit down in it...

Pulled out of my kids' school parking lot this AM, and there was a silver TT roadster in front of me. As I pulled along side of him at the parking lot exit, I honked and waved...no response. Dead stare, like "do I know you?"

I'll keep trying though, cause one of you are out there, and I'm sure we'll connect!

I will always wave, honk or do something to acknowledge other TTs. So if you see me in Cambridge, on the Pike or in and around Metro West in my Silver TTR feel free to wave, I'll definitely wave back. Of course I'm not from NE originally, so maybe that's why I'm friendlier than other TTers.
