It is likely they are where you think they are. I lost a Palm Pilot stylus under the rail once.

Default Lost diamonds... How hard is it to remove the passenger seat?

Ok folks - here is my dilemma. My wife dropped a $5000 diamond bracelet in our TT the other evening - it fell below the passenger seat on the inner side next to the cup holders.
Looking under the seat we can't see the bracelet, but I have a hunch that it's actually fallen underneath the rail that the seat sits on. If you look with a flashlight between the seat and the center console there appears to be a small gap between the floor of the car and the rail at one point - I think it's sitting under there.
I could take it to the dealer and ask them to do it, but I've got this nagging worry that someone will just pocket it and say they couldn't find it(how's that for a nice world view? argh).
If anyone has any advice, please post!

Thanks...

Default Very easy. Done it many times. Instructions inside.

Slide seat all the way back.
Take off plastic covers on rails.
Unscrew bolts with allen wrench.
Slide seat all the way forward.
Undo rear bolts with allen wrench.

Lift up seat(not too high because of airbag and seat heat wires).

Get diamonds.

Reverse directions to replace.
