Coupe and roadster from same mold?
Hello List!
I am wondering what the chassis differences are between the coupe and the roadster. What did Audi beef up, if anything, underneath the roadster to keep it as rigid as possible? Also, what other chassis changes, if any?

The design of Coupe vs Roadster....
Some convertibles are nothing more than chopped top versions of the hardtop brethren. The Cabrio is a great example of where the top was just chopped off and some extra bracing added for rigidity. The car was never designed as a convertible from the get go....it was more like an afterthought.
The TT Roadster was designed as a convertible from the get go....Audi definitely built this car to a much better standard than your typical convertible. One of the biggest stiffening factors is the bulkhead that holds the roll bars behind the seats, IMHO this is the biggest reason that the TTR is as stiff as it is.
