DV from Stratmosphere...
Anyone buy the forged DV from Stratmosphere? I read the installation instructions and it seems easy...is it really THAT simple? Plus, does the DV really make that much of a difference? Seems like everyone here recommends replacing the DV almost immediately.

Yes it is that easy....
The hardest part is getting the oem hose clamps off and you might have to wrestle with that for a while put the rest is plug and play.
Yes it is recommended for the simple fact that the OEM are very prone to failure, not all of them...just most of them.

I went through 4 Audi/Bosch DVs before installing the Forge. The good part was the dealership used standard hose clamps (as supplied with the Forge DV), so installing the Forge was even easier.

My wife said the box arrived today. Course it'll be Saturday, after school, after it cools off.....
...before I attempt it. I'm NOT auto-mechanically inclined. My Father did a bad training job. Usually consisted of him yelling and screaming, me hiding, and handing tools and then getting yelled at when said tools fell down in the engine compartment.
