Just got my new TT. Need advise on breaking it in.
Just picked up a 2001 TT 225HP. My last car was a chipped 99.5 a4 1.8TQM. I beat the hell out of the clutch, and want to make sure I treat this one a little better.
What type/style of driving is best for breaking the car in? I am also having small problems shifting to second gear. I pop it a little, even if I try not to.
Love the car.

Sorta like breaking in a new partner...Don't beat the poo out of it..
but don't take it too easy, or it may lose interest in you. Just drive it moderately, have fun, and gradually start working it harder.
Sustained full throttle and max revs probably not best. If you're pushing it, short shift, and give it a chance to rest between trysts...er, hard drives.
You could also read the manual.
