Default Helmut's in for Bilstein shocks and Mintex pad install today, got a new Passat 1.8T as a loaner...

And it's BRAND new - about 200 miles on it. And not bad, very A4-like as far as handling and acceleration, but the fit and finish, while very nice, is noticely less refined -vs- an Audi. Nice colour too - "Blue Anthracite", not sure that this pic is an exact colour match however.

Sure wish it had 4MOTION so I could really go out and play today... but it does not. :/

What is your dealer charging for the Bilstein installation?

Not sure yet as they are not sure how much total work, hourly rate I think is $65.

Default Yes, for now. I *almost* got the H&R sport springs, but want to feel what the Bilsteins do first.

Jenner and Larry will be very disappointed in me, but I really do not have much interest in lowering my car.

Default I'm curious as to what they charge for the Mintex install - I was told that the job rating is....

1 hour each front & rear = 2 hours total. Hourly rate is $75 at my dealer.

Body roll seemed much greater on the Passat vs. A4.
