Selling my car....

Ha..had you going but I am selling my '90 740 Volvo Wagon....signed the papers today for my new 2001 BMW 525iT. Expected delivery is end of June. Really wanted Euro delivery but the logistics are to complicated this year and I don't want to wait till October to get it stateside. 5-Speed, premium and cold weather packages, Xenons. The new family car. Looking foward to it.

Oh...decided it was time for a name change too.

Congrats on the new car. I see you are moving further and further away from the Swedish cars and more towards the German ones! I know you still have the Volvo P1200 or whatever the name is, but still . . .why the switch?

Well.....if you really think so...

The switch? We don't like the way the new Volvos look that much, plus the fact that they are front wheel drive, except for the XC. We don't really care for its bulbous look. We also looked at the A6 but it wasn't a real love affair. The BMW just hit me the right way...looks, fit and finish. And...it is the only wagon in its class that you can get in a manual 5-speed.
