I was in WuHan China for about a week, a year ago last fall, and had time to wander the streets. This activity below is very, very common, right on the sidewalks.

Making door frame with the wood the other guy cut. I watched this for 10 min. This was fascinating. He built these frames on the sidewalk, withj no nails, and minimal tools. The ends were cut into various notches, and using this hammer, a scraper, and a basic right-angle triangle for squareness, he built 6 of these, loaded them on a bicycle with a special frame to support them, and took off down the street. Modern entrapaneurship.
