updates for the TT 2002 model??
hi,'i've heard that the actual TT is gonna be updated by AUDI!!i don't know wheter the updates will regard interior or exterior ( guess new colors choice,new rear-view mirrors..)! but something is gonna happen,AUDI will probably show the TT 2002 model at the Frankfurt motorshow...anybody knows if this is true??!!

Mild cosmetic update. There has been talk of marketing pressures to differentiate the TT motor from
from others in the 1.8T line up. The aluminum block 2.0 is currently the endorsed favorite that is tunable up to 300HP. The perceived marketing pressures from U.S. sales may push the motor into U.S. showrooms as early as MY '03 along with the new S4. The desire to keep U.S. sales strong and promote the sporting edge of the model line up will continue to bolster sales momentum (which is by the way still very strong). Other discussions include how to get a Tip to fit for the American ladies in the marketplace. The battle is over whether to use an existing VW auto or continue not to offer an automatic. Apparently, the development of the Tip for the TT may be to costly to build to round out appeal to the rest of the target clientele. My disclaimer is that Elvis told me.
