Hey anybody find the stock shocks dont last long?? Ive got almost 4000k on car now and have noticed
a big decrease in performance, with all other things being equal, tire pressure and ambient temp. Has anybody found a good shock spring combo thats adjustable? And doesnt lower vehicle to much?? Any thing good from Bilstein or Koni?

Same here with many of us. My shocks are toast at ~7500 miles... probably have been for a while. Simplifying things, here are some popular options discussed lately:
1) OEM springs and Bilstein Sport shocks
2) Sport springs and Bilstein sport shocks
3) H&R coilovers (which use Bilsteins and are adjustable.)
there are a few other choices as well, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. I've read some things that are making me avoid the Konis, in favor of the Bilsteins.

The Bilsteins have gotten rave reviews the last couple weeks.

No drawbacks that I'm aware, I just have a big SEG everytime I drive it! :) Got shocks from Neuspeed
About $620 for all four corners, cost me about $234 for the install.
