Default Hey this is directed to everyone with Bilsteins and HR Coilovers

Hey For those of you with just the Bilsteins how was handling with stock springs?? Any Camber problems with use of aftermarket springs? What weights up front and rear?? For those with coilovers was wondering if you thought there was a worthwhile difference over just going the spring and Bilstein route?? Any problems resetting camber if its only dropped about an inch?? Ive been reading posts and there great but need some help on whether to get HR coilovers or just Bilsteins and springs.. For those with coilover setup does this setup get you close to the old mark 1 setup or is it better?? If its stiffer than Mark 1 TT do you notice and high speed drop throttle oversteer problems that the Mark 1 had?? Cause the spoiler only provides around 100-120lbs downforce and I was wondering if its enough. Any info and input on setups along with any input of what you thought of the setup you picked and why and whether you liked it... Thanks for help

Default I have H&R coilovers.....

Yes, they bring my handling back closer to the "quickness" of my Mk I handling (I've had a Mk I unspoilered 180Q as well as my current 225Mk IIQ)

The ride is "firmer" than standard. I haven't lowered the car at all, just levelled it. My settings are Front 26" measured ground to top of wheel arch, Rears 26 1/4 inch.

You can't alter the camber (though I am working on modifying the rear control arms so that I can adjust the camber at the rear)

I wound up with a hair over 3 degrees of negative camber at the rear, just under 2 degrees outside Audi specs.

The ride is firm, the handling precise, but the ride is not everyone's cup of tea, particularly on bumpy roads.

Default Officer, I never exceed the posted speed limits.....

I've only been up to those speeds twice. In fact I've rarely been over 100mph even on the track

The only quirkiness has been when driving on loose surfaced gravel roads: I can bring the back round under braking and under power.

To answer your question: no, the car seems very "planted" to me.

Do you find handling predictable for the most part?? Less understeer??

Default a question about the camber

what do you attribute the rear camber change to? shouldn't retaining the stock height keep you closer to the original rear camber?
