My TT went in today because..
the newly replaced tank sensors was leaking gas - a slow ooze. The dealer took the car apart this afternoon and replaced the gasket and filled up the tank. I picked it up about 6pm. They said they filled the tank and when I smelled gas I figured it was from the work.
Got it home (well near) and it was about 1/8 down or so. I figured they didn't really fill it up so I did. Bad move; it dumped 3 gallons of gas or so - back to the pre-fillup mark. Car stinks inside of gas.
Called the dealer (salesman there, service long gone) - Audi Assured came (finally) and took it back to the dealership. It's undriveable; it would kill you to try to breathe in there..
The salesman says he will push hard on service to see if they can really fix it - finally? and if so, I'll be pulling into Somerset late tomorrow (I miss the whole train of TT's, damn)
Fun stuff, heh? What (crappy) timing - how do I do that? I could write a book!

Anyone know a good lawyer? What if my car had turned into a big old fireball?? Not to mention the toxic poison - the tow truck driver nearly bounced out of the car when he smelled it!
