Just got back and perused the forum - some quick replies:
It is true that laws vary from state to state and, yes, some judges treat out-of-state counsel more harshly but I feel confident that we won't have any difficulties in that regard. I was fortunate (as some of you know) to have been a prosecutor for most of my career and I spent some time in CT teaching their prosecutors how to run "Club Drug" investigations (Ecstasy, GBL, GHB and the like) so I'm not a complete stranger to them.
In any event, it went smoothly today and I feel good about both today's result and the prospects for a good final resolution. I'll be in the chat tonight but I need to spend some time checking out the pictures (or potential "evidence").
Later....
