I guess he has never worked in video production...

and thus never heard the term "ASPECT RATIO". Ever seen old Kung Fu movies when the starting or ending credits are rolling? They look like little gumbies all stretched out! They must do this to insure that the credits will be legible on a television rather than a wide cinema screen! This guy is a dork...

poll: Do you watch The Sopranos in widescreen (orig. hbo) or full screen (hbo plus)

Movies are shot in 16:9 (or wider) while conventional tvs are 4:3...something has to give...either the sides get chopped, the image gets stretched or you get the whole image with black bars on the top and bottom. i just assume see everything that is supposed to be in the frame. and i watch the sopranos in widescreen.
