Default Well...I hit 5K miles with New Klink on H&R *coil-overs*...

Noise compared to *old* MKI & II rear springs is nearly non existant. H&R has indeed solved the problem by off-setting and tilting rear spring to more closely match stock design.

These things are fabulecko. Love em' to death...corners like a bangee w/o any annoyance. Just love tearing thru the roundabouts as TT stays level, planted and stable. Got a real fine handling sports car, here!

Still need rear camber kit but a solution will be coming shortly.

Default Are you talking about the knocking noise?

I have the version 3 setup and have some noise coming from the rear. If I bring the car up a bit do you think it will help?

Default Front is 13.25" from wheel center to arch and 13.75" rear (roadsters are different with steep rake).

I'm at the highest setting where all threads on rear adjuster are still engaged and front is cranked all the way up. Camber is -1.5* front and rear is presently @ -2.25* rear (goal is -1 to -.75* range). Toe is dead zero front and rear.

Default We have these in stock, BTW:

As the Colonel testifies: fantastic handling!<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/products/audi/audiparts.cfm?PMaI=1&PMoI=5&PEI=2&PP=tt_18t_suspen sion.cfm&PPT=Suspension">H&R from A.W.E.</a></li></ul>

Default Yes. Give it a try...I have found the highest setting (see below) to be...

the best compromise for me. TT is much more streetable cranked up to the higher setting while remaining far superior in performance to stock set-up. One noteable effect is less noise @ higher setting as the suspension travel is too short at a lower setting.

Default Details Please

Could you please post the part numbers for your modified rear springs or build date eg 29 431HA 8/2000 or alternatively a picture of them in situ with the weight on. What I am trying to see is if the coils touch under normal loading.
Your help would be most appreciated.

Default Try Steve: hrsprings@nas.com. Very helpful and responsive guy...

H&R have been swapping the updated rear springs w/o charge in US. MKIII has an offset, is tilted and has a protective covering around the first winding.

It would be pretty difficult to tell which version you have with spring mounted on TT except for the presence of the clear plastic covering on the first winding (bottom only).
