6mo Service - New transmission
A few months back when I introduced who I was I mentioned that my 225 was delivered with a transmission problem. When in 3rd (and occasionally 4th), if I let off on the gas to coast the transmission would pop to the neutral position. Not a big deal so I put off doing anything till I took it in for the first service. One of you asked that I post the results of the service check on this when I had it done. Well the service guys determined it was internal to the transmission and said they don't even try to fix internal transmission problems at the shop. They just order a new transmission. So as soon as the new one arrives in Dallas from Calif they will call me to come in a put it in. That was the only item I had on my list to be done outside normal service (I only have 4500 miles so I hit the 6 month mark before 5K).
