Default Back at work (thank goodness, I need the rest), swamped, but wanted to stop by to say --

Thanks and more thanks to Peter, Bob, the aftermarket guys, Marcia & Jen (two awesome barkeeps) and anyone who did anything to set up the event.

A week ago tomorrow, Larry, Jason and Gina arrived at my house. It was non-stop fun the entire time. Can't even begin to express how much fun I had with everyone. Great meeting all the people there and putting faces to posts. This is the best bunch of people....was like we were all old friends. Missed some that weren't there: Mance, Dick (Ak) and Bogey and a ton-o-others. All I know is this old gal needs some serious downtime....these events are either going to keep me young or kill me; I can't decide which. My thighs still hurt from dancing.

Found out a few fun things: JimTT can cut a rug; Jenner needs jitter bug lessons, I can get up, put on make up, curl my hair, get dressed, have two cups of coffee and four glasses of water and take 4 Advil in ten minutes....a new women's world record.

Oh, and by the way....the lost set of keys are mine. Gina and I were using the single key all weekend. Thank goodness I get in my house through the garage, or we would have been locked out...Got to work this morning and the security guard had to let me in my office. Holiday Inn, Somerset is coming through by Fed Xing the keys to me....what a knucklehead I am.

Joel's sing-a-long was like someone said...the last night of summer camp around the camp fire...the perfect closing (well semi-closing). And, meeting Ebb on the way home capped it. Could go on and on, but this little verse sums up how I feel about each and every person I met this last weekend: old friends and new.

My Special List

I have a list of folks I know...
all written in a book,
And every now and then..
I go and take a look.
That is when I realize
these names ... they are a part,
not of the book they're written in...
but taken from the heart.
For each Name stands for someone...
who has crossed my path sometime,
and in that meeting they have become...
the reason and the rhyme.
Although it sounds fantastic...
for me to make this claim,
I really am composed...
of each remembered name.
Although you're not aware...
of any special link,
just knowing you, has shaped my life...
more than you could think.
So please don't think my greeting...
as just a mere routine,
your name was not...
forgotten in between.
For when I send a greeting...
that is addressed to you,
it is because you're on the list...
of folks I'm indebted to.
So whether I have known you...
for many days or few,
in some ways you have a part,
in shaping things I do.
I am but a total...
of many folks I've met,
you are a friend I would prefer...
never to forget.

Thanks TT friends for a wonderful experience!!

Den

Default I know exactly what you mean, and I was in bed earlier than most each night. I said to Michael that

it would have been nice if it were longer, but that we probably were lucky it wasn't. Too much fun!

Default That was a nice "list" Denny. It was great to hang out with you..

..and you could have fooled me with the 10 minute morning routine... I swore it looked like you took at at least 12!
