Seatbelt trivia
It seems that the coupe has little adjustable plastic belt tab stoppers (to prevent the metal tab from sliding all the way down to the floor all the time), but the roadster doesn't!? Or is it just my car? (Maybe being BB made it so fast that the assembly line people couldn't catch up to it? :-)
It's kind of annoying having to reach down to the floor all the time to find it when getting into the car and buckling the seatbelt. Guess I'll have to look for some aftermarket part to take its place, or may we can order the Audi part? Dunno...

More seatbelt trivia:
If your passenger seat belt is always rattling against the side of your car, put it in the hole. I do not know if the roadster is the same, but on the coupe, the hole that the seat belt itself comes out of was made to hold the clasp when it is not in use, so it doesn't rattle around.

Roadster DOES have it - It took me a few months to become aware of it
It is all the way at bottom of belt, by the floor (thats the way they ship them) - You have to slide it up to where you want it - It sometimes slides down a little.
I had the same problem when I got my tt last year, then someone posted your question, got this answer, so when I checked it was there !!!

Thanks! I can't believe that I was that unobservant. I found it a pain in the *** to reach down to the floor to get the seat belt clasp. When I read your thread, I went out to the parking lot, and sure enough - just as you described it. I wonder what else I am missing?
