Now that Kens knows how the TT seats come apart and stitch, he said labor would be more like 5 hours a seat or $450 total.
The doors can't be done because the back panels are held in by plastic rods that have been melted to form a type of cheap rivit. It would cost serious money to replace them correctly, and there is no way to cover over the existing leather. If you've got the money....
Silver and Blue(from the S4) Alcantara is available from UUC. I believe more colors are available outside the US. You ONLY want Alcantara(aka Ultrasuede Milano). Don't settle for Ultrasuede, Ultrasuede HP or Ultrasuede light. I highly advise against putting real suede in also. If it gets wet, which it does when it rains and you open the door, it will stain. Alcantara on the other hand is cleaned with water.
Alcantara a.k.a. Ultrasuede Milano is a form of ultrasuede that was developed for use in vehicles. I believe it is used by Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, BMW and Lexus.
Ultrasuede, ultrasuede light, and High performance were devloped as an alterntive to suede and are commonly found in furniture, jackets, and handbags.
I did this because I love the way it looks, it keeps my rear cooler in the summer sun(as opposed to black leather) and it won isn't as cold in the winter. Another reason is that with no sunroof in the coupe and black leather the interior can be very dark at times and I want to lighten it up. Also the suede does a great job of helping your butt stay in the seat and not slide around.
Hope this helps. Email me for more info!
that's actually a lot cheaper than i had thought! i'm not surpised that the doors cannot be done, and actually that's not as important to me

thanks a lot!
