TT wheels and tires.. Please help..
Ive seen a few tt's with super huge tire setups i.e 255's.
Im running 255 all around on my a4 (Hi my name is johnny and im a canyon junkie)
What is the advantage of runing such wide tires on the tt?
For those who are looking for a very capable track car, would you use 245's all around. can the front fender accept a 255 or a 245 tire with out rubbing.
Since most tt's are fwd, and some have haldex, is the sole reason for big rear meat a cosmetic one?
how bad does the car Push with such wide tires in the rear, on a mostly fwd car.
Can 245's be mounted all the way around.
I plann on getting a tt, so please help me get started in the right direction.
Could i go with a 245 35 18 tire all around.
regards
) is that the Haldex engages sooner due to understeer at the front tyres. The rear anti-roll bar negates from the chassis and I get a quicker turn in from the staggerred set up and a stronger push out of turns due to the engaged Haldex and the contact patch dynamics of the 255's. ESP off always of course. The Boxster S and all Porsches are staggered this way at about the same ratio. The TT has the same wheelbase as the Boxster, but is 60/40 in weight. Engaging quattro ASAP is the equalizer.
