Good News on the forum
Since we all tend to gripe about AoA and our dealers, I thought I should say I took TTRUBLE in to Jordan Audi in Des Moines for its 15,000 service an hour or so ago. They had a loaner (New Beetle) clean and waiting for me. The service writer had read my work order before approaching my car. (ie. he knew my name and what I wanted done) He had the headlight switch I told them to order and promised me a call as soon as my car was done in case I wanted it before 5pm.
As for AoA, (knock on wood) in 15,000 miles I have not had any major problems. I replaced the DV with a Bailey early on and with the exception of a headlight switch that turns on the fogs on the second detent, there has been nothing go wrong.
I considered trading my early 2000 180TTQC (MKI, no spoiler) for a 2001 225TTQC, but decided not to press my luck.
Just thought I's post a good experience for a change.

I did this back in November, the fogs come on with the parking lights, that's the best I can do.

That's the best YOU can do? Come on Jeff . . .you can do MUCH better than that!
I'm certain you can figure out which pieces we need from Canada in order to get the DRL's to work properly!
