Default AoA Road Service and lost keys

I went up to Okemo last week for a dya of skiing and lost my keys...you know car, house, office...

I had the backup plastic key in my wallet, but that too was locked in the car. So I called AofA and they got Triple A to come and open the car...

Here's the thing. I got a call from AoA yesteday, following up on the service call. The rep asked me what kind of car I had. I thought it was an odd question to ask, considering that the service was rendered, and that they had a service case number in case I had to call them back on it I said to the rep "you aught to know...you have my service request on your screen, don't you? He replied, (in a rather rude tone I might add) We're following up on YOUR request...and then he disconnected the call.

My thought was that someone found my keys, and called AoA and got my number. Is this just paranoia, or can this happen? I'm concerned that my TT will be gone in the morning.

Andy
No mods, too much fun as it is...

Default I would call AoA immediately, and (more)

tell them exactly what you posted here, including your concern that it may have been a "prank" call from someone trying to identify where the car is, so they can take it. Be sure to act as paranoid as possible on the call as well, so they get the feel that it's extremely urgent you get an answer right away. They'll be able to tell you if a follow-up call was scheduled or not.

Good point. I'd do the same, get paranoid, not mad.
