Anyone out there have a 225 w/immobilizer and the APR chip? I have a few questions...
1) What kind of PC did you use? OS?
2) Did you experience any problems in communicating with the ECU using APR's software?
I am having a bit of a dilemma, in that my laptop isn't able to communicate with the ECU through APR's program. Using Vag-Com, I have no problems, I can enter modules, etc. This would lead me to believe that APR's software is the problem. However, since things change with different OS's, etc. if anyone out there had success, and can tell me what hardware they used, I might be able to use another laptop, or my home PC, etc.
I called APR from my driveway last night while sitting with the laptop connected, but it was late and their chief programmer had gone home. I have to call APR back today to see what they came up with.
Any input from this august and distinguished forum membership will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
