Update on morse code/whine fix ...
Turns out the Service Manager was wrong, it wasn't the head unit they were replacing, but a ground harness as per the Audi Techline. Will test and report.
As for them changing my DV for power loss I believe I felt, they actually replaced Air Intake Combination Valve. I didn't feel any power loss on drive home, so it fixed whatever was wrong.
They also talked to the Techline re: my lock with ig off/can't unlock issue. Suppsedly the techline said to replace the alarm sensor module, which is now on order.
This sh*t scares me!

Well, I'm reading this forum (too much posting for me to follow regularly...) wondering if people are still having lots of nighTTmares. Apparently even the new cars are having issues with the turbo regulation, etc.? My 1999 delivered, 2000 model year TT is a piece. It's a beautiful piece, though, and it does drive better with the suspension recall done than it did when I first bought the car. I'm trying to figure out something equally cool and non-convertable to replace it with.
