OH YEAH!!!
Death Valley, Tahoe, L.A., Mt Shasta... I love road trips in the TT. Longest turn behind the wheel was 14 hours in this car. Pretty damn comfy for a sports car, and it holds camping gear for two!

Absolutely...
Made two trips from Lafayette, IN to Edisto Beach, SC (928 miles each way - 12.5 hours door to door) in a TT-QC. Enough luggage room, comfortable ride, good seats, not quite as good as my old 528i, but good enough. The only drawbacks if you could call these drawbacks are a)the attention the car draws b)in search of a good cup holder c) Bose sound sucks, d) needs an armrest...(corrected that-Stratmosphere Arm Rest) and finally e) Nav system doesn't recognize back country in South Carolina.

Road trips are great!
The TT helps the miles fly by... certainly in the figurative, if not the literal sense. Besides, you didn't buy it just to tool around town, did you? Cheers!
P.S. This will make your trips go longer, since you'll be tempted to got the "scenic route," 'cause driving the twisties and other roads provides the driving experience that interstates just don't provide
