Someone help...i'm stupid

Okay i have to ask...in the compartment in the center of the car there is a button for the rear hatch, a button for the gas cap, but what the hell does the middle button do?

So, RTFM to become un-stoopid, it's the internal motion detector on/off button.

how do you know if its on or off? it looks like theres a light on the button but it never comes on...should i bring it up to the dealer?

I don't believe that part of things is in the manual....but found out here that the door has to be

open in order for the light to go on/off. Weird eh?

Read that book that's in your glove compartment. Do you know where the glove compartment is?

Open the drvr door, (yes that's right), then hit the button, it should light up....

Press the switch, it should light up.
the LEDS on the sills will light up for 3 sec.
Lock the car.
Watch the sill LEDs', they will blink fast for 30 sec, then go slower
