Just got my hands on Some english TT stuff

From MArtyn at Whitehouse Audi. More on Martyn (all good later)

2 things.

1.) Alcantra seating surfaces available in England. Wonder if we can get new skins here from there.

2.)In the accessory catelog(sp?) they have new front speaker upgrades listed. Anyone know what these are all about.

2) Can't but help here, since the std. head unit hasa measley 20W/chan amp that powers the ft spkrs.

Keep me posted on this, I may wish to upgrade them.

If you want better speakers, getting them from Audi is the last place you should be looking!

yes but w/out major retrofit....

and tearing the whole thing apart this may be a possible solution.

Actually, what I really want to to is add an amp and utilize a 8 inch sub that I happen to have.

Really just thought this was one particluar accessory I saw in the book that Martyn gave me that I thought was not offered in the US.

are the speakers 2 ohm like the Bose speakers? if not they won't work with the Bose amp

then you would have to go with new speakers and a new amp.

Really don't think I would...

go with the Audi "Upgrades" but do plan on asking Martyn about them.

If I just go with a self enclosed sub and aftermarket amp, there shouldn't be any problems with connectivity right? Marcus installed a self-powered bazooka that was basically plug and play.

I'm just looking to get some extra base in the car don't need anything louder, and I am satisified w/ the clarity.
